North Texas State Soccer Association
Since its formation in 1964 North Texas Soccer has offered quality soccer programs for both youth and adult players. A volunteer group with a dedication for growing the sport of soccer, it was legally incorporated as the North Texas State Soccer Association Inc. under the Texas Nonprofit Corporation Act with a federal income tax exemption as a 501 (c) (3) on April 29, 1981.
In the 24 years since that incorporation North Texas Soccer has grown to become the largest joint youth and adult soccer association in the United States, representing 145,000 youth players, 24,000 adult players, 40,000 indoor players, 25,000 coaches, 6,600 referees, and over 1,300 administrators. Including member spouses and parents, the North Texas Soccer family is estimated to be at least 500,000 strong.
North Texas Soccer was formed “To foster and advance the cause of soccer within the territory under the jurisdiction of the Association.” and has dedicated its efforts “To remain the leader in soccer by igniting a lifetime passion in each participant.”
That territory is on a line from Louisiana to New Mexico, from just south of Waco, TX. To Oklahoma, and from New Mexico to Arkansas and Louisiana.

National Membership
The North Texas State Soccer Association Inc. (North Texas Soccer) is directly affiliated with the United States Soccer Federation Inc. (US Soccer) which is recognized by the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) as the National Governing Body for the sport of soccer under the "Ted Stevens Olympic and Amateur Sports Act" an act of the Congress of the United States. The USSF is also a member of the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) through which they are recognized as the national association for the territory of the United States. In addition North Texas Soccer is affiliated with the United States Youth Soccer Association Inc. (US Youth Soccer) and the United States Adult Soccer Association Inc. (USASA).
North Texas Soccer is recognized as the administrative body within the northern half of the State of Texas which institutes soccer programs on behalf of the aforementioned organizations for both youth and adult players.
Local Membership
North Texas Soccer is comprised of some 131 local associations who register adult and youth players to play outdoor as well as indoor soccer. North Texas Soccer also administers the training and development of the referees used to officiate all games under the jurisdiction of North Texas Soccer while also maintaining and developing training courses for coaches.
