Rock'N The Park feat. KISS, Daughtry, Pat Green, Drowning Pool coming Sept. 18

FRISCO, Texas – During the past 37 years, KISS has sold 80 million albums and become an American pop culture icon with classics such as “Rock and Roll All Nite” and “Detroit Rock City." On Saturday, Sept. 18 they'll visit Pizza Hut Park as part of Rock’N the Park, featuring special guests Daughtry, Pat Green and Drowning Pool.

The Hottest Show on Earth tour will trek through a mix of arenas and amphitheaters throughout North America. KISS is also giving back to the United States Armed Forces by donating one dollar from each ticket sold to benefit the Wounded Warriors Project.

Green has had 15 Billboard-charted singles, including the smash “Wave on Wave.” His last two CDs, Cannonball and What I’m For, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Country Album Charts.

Drowning Pool debuted its self-titled album at No. 35 on the Billboard 200 in April. The album also hit No. 3 on Billboard’s Hard Rock and No. 5 on Billboard’s Top Independent Albums chart, while their single “Feel Like I Do” reached No. 3 on radio’s active rock chart. The Dallas natives also recently joined forces with Wounded Warrior Project and the GI Film Festival in Washington, D.C., to offer “Feel Like I Do” as a free download to the warrior community as a thank you from the band to their service and heroism.

KISS has given some of today's now-legendary bands their first shot by opening for the band at sold out arenas and stadiums around the world -- AC/DC, BON JOVI, RUSH, IRON MAIDEN, JUDAS PRIEST and many others. The FC Dallas game with the New York Red Bulls, previously scheduled for Sept. 18, will now be played Thursday, Sept. 16 at Pizza Hut Park.

ABOUT PIZZA HUT PARK
Opened on August 6, 2005, Pizza Hut Park is a 145-acre multipurpose sports and entertainment facility located at the intersection of Main Street and Dallas North Tollway in Frisco, Texas, and is the home stadium for FC Dallas of Major League Soccer. The stadium, which has a permanent stage on the north end situated off the playing surface, has a capacity of 20,500 fans for sporting events and can expand to accommodate more than 27,000 fans for concerts by utilizing field seats. The complex also includes 17 tournament-grade fields used for youth and adult soccer, as well as high school sports and other events.
