EDGEFEST 17 RETURNS TO PIZZA HUT PARK

FRISCO, Texas (Monday, March 10, 2008)On Sunday, April 27, 2008, 102.1 The Edge KDGE-FM all-day concert, Edgefest 17, will return to Pizza Hut Park for the third consecutive year.

The all-day concert will feature bands 3 Doors Down, My Chemical Romance, Blue October, Chevelle, Seether, Puddle of Mudd, Atreyu, Finger Eleven, 10 Years, Filter, Story Of The Year, Miser, Sick Puppies, Billy Tallent, Fair to Midland, Electric, Drive A, Spoonfed Tribe, Theory Of A Deadman, and Drive By.

Edgefest 17 will be held at Pizza Hut Park, home of Major League Soccer’s FC Dallas, located on the corner of Main Street and the North Dallas Tollway in Frisco.

FC Dallas Season Ticket holders will have a chance to order tickets to the concert during a special pre-sale at www.Ticketmaster.com, from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday, March 14. Please contact the FCD front office for more information (888.FCD.GOAL).

Tickets for the general public will go on sale on at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 15 at all Ticketmaster outlets and online at www.Ticketmaster.com. Ticket prices are $49.50 plus service fees. Tickets are not available through the Pizza Hut Park box office.

On April 15, 2007, EdgeFest 16 set the all-time Pizza Hut Park attendance record when 28,242 fans turned out for the show.

Parking prices for EdgeFest 17 are $10, $15 and $20. Log on to KDGE.com for more information.  Parking Fees will be collected a the time of entry.

ABOUT PIZZA HUT PARK
Opened on August 6, 2005, Pizza Hut Park is a 145-acre multipurpose sports and entertainment facility located at the intersection of Main Street and Dallas North Tollway in Frisco, Texas, and is the home stadium for FC Dallas of Major League Soccer. The stadium, which has a permanent stage on the north end situated off the playing surface, has a capacity of 20,500 fans for sporting events and can expand to accommodate over 27,000 fans for concerts by utilizing field seats. The complex also includes 17 tournament-grade fields used for youth and adult soccer, as well as high school sports and other events. The $105 million public-private complex is owned by the City of Frisco in partnership with the Hunt Sports Group (HSG), the Frisco Independent School District, and Collin County. Since opening, over 1.5 million spectators and participants have visited the complex each year for FC Dallas games, concerts, soccer tournaments, and other special events through the year.
